Visiting Nurse Services in Westchester Inc. (VNSW) has opened a division office for Visiting Nurse Services in Putnam at 979 Route 22 in Brewster.
Putnam County Department of Health Certified Home Health Agency patients will now be served by VNSP. The county sponsored and operated its home health agency since 1969, until 2009 when a request for proposals resulted in seven bids.
Through the transition, VNSP has retained a majority of the county”™s home health agency workers, including nurses, social workers and home health aides.
Elias M. Nemnom has been named administrator of Visiting Nurse Services in Westchester, succeeding former President and CEO Carol Weber and Vice President for Finance and Operations Hector Rueda, both resigning their posts.
Nemnom most recently served as interim chief financial officer at AllianceCare and has more than 30 years of health care administrative experience.
