Quorum Federal Credit Union in Purchase, Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union in Poughkeepsie and Nokia in White Plains are three of the top 40 companies chosen as the best places to work for in New York state.
The companies were selected by Mid Hudson Human Resources Association, which is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
The Best Companies to Work for in New York is a multi-year initiative to motivate companies to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence. The award is based on Fortune Magazine”™s list of the 100 best companies to work for in America.
SHRM has 17 local chapters throughout the state and nearly 16,000 active members.
The three Hudson Valley companies will be among those honored at the Albany Marriott”™s award dinner on April 21. Right Management, Jackson Lewis L.L.P. and the Business Council of New York are sponsoring the event.
