Resilient Dutchess business

More than 400 business, nonprofit and agricultural supporters filled The Grandview in Poughkeepsie Thursday evening, Nov. 12, for the Dutchess County economics awards. The theme was diversity, with foods and flags of all nations.  The world may be flat, but Dutchess County had no problem honoring its local business community, which has been staying afloat in a sea of economic turmoil and uncertainty.  Among the guests at the awards dinner:
