Westmed Medical Group, the 250-physician multispecialty practice based in Purchase, has announced plans to open its fifth full-service polyclinic in Westchester County by 2015.
Dr. Simeon Schwartz, WESTMED”™s founding president and CEO, said the 85,000-square-foot medical office likely will be in Harrison, though no lease has yet been signed. An office lease deal is expected to close by March or April.
The new facility”™s outpatient services will include primary and specialty physician care, an Urgent Care Center, a clinical laboratory and radiology services.
“We”™re happy to have the confidence and support of the community, and we need space for more doctors to meet the needs of patients,” Schwartz said in the announcement.
WESTMED operates polyclinics in West Harrison, Rye, Yonkers and New Rochelle and smaller medical offices in Purchase and Scarsdale.
