Children”™s & Women”™s Physicians of Westchester, a 276-physician group headquartered in Valhalla, has been renamed Boston Children”™s Health Physicians (BCHP), officials at Boston Children”™s Hospital recently announced.
The Westchester practice, which has 60 offices in the tristate metropolitan area, joined Boston Children”™s northeast pediatric network in July 2015.
BCHP physicians will continue to practice in the same locations and access to local specialists will remain unchanged, hospital officials said. The alliance formed last year allows for improved access to Boston Children’s extensive resources and will benefit patients and families as clinical collaborations grow between Boston Children”™s and Westchester physicians, they said.
“Our affiliation with Boston Children”™s Hospital will facilitate us in providing an even higher level of care, and support access to some of the finest minds in pediatric medicine,” said Dr. Leonard Newman, president of Boston Children”™s Health Physicians, LLP.
