ENT & Allergy Associates L.L.P. (ENTA) will consolidate and expand its headquarters operations in Tarrytown and close its Mount Kisco office, officials at the fast-growing 140-physician practice said this week.
With the consolidation, ENTA will hire additional employees to staff a patient contact center to be built in its expanded headquarters.
The practice, which has grown to include 38 clinical offices in New York and New Jersey, has leased an additional 9,390 square feet of office space at 560 White Plains Road in Tarrytown, bringing its total space there to 23,455 square feet. The nearly 200-employee practice has grown to be the largest tenant and largest employer in the building.
ENTA will move its marketing and customer service operations and other functions from 666 Lexington Ave. in Mount Kisco to Tarrytown. The Mount Kisco office will be closed and leased to another medical practice.
The planned 1,800-square-foot patient contact center will serve all of ENTA”™s clinical offices. Trained staff will handle questions from patients on billing, appointments, insurance coverage and other subjects related to their medical care.
The in-house call center is expected to relieve front-desk staff in the practice”™s clinical offices of interruptions to answer phones and thus eliminate what ENTA officials called “a significant cause of increased wait times and patient dissatisfaction.” Â
ENTA has hired John I. Monreal to manage the patient contact center. Monreal, named a 40 Under 40 Rising Star by the Business Council of Westchester in 2006, previously was regional director of STA Travel. Â Â
“As a practice, we are always looking for innovative ways to operate at maximum efficiency so our patients will receive the best care possible,” ENTA CEO Robert Glazer said in a statement. Â
