For the last year, software startup Nexus Health Resources has been growing its business and developing its product with the helpful hand of the Orange County Business Accelerator.
The tech company announced in April that it has successfully outgrown its home within the accelerator and will head out on its own to expand its operation and service reach.
Nexus has developed a software system called NexusConnexions that helps transition patients from hospital care to home care by working directly with hospitals, medical practices, nursing facilities and other community-based providers.
The Orange County Business Accelerator in New Windsor provides research and development space to small firms in order to reduce costs and offers resources to help them grow their business. The accelerator was launched more than five years ago and has served 43 companies during that time.
