Longtime health care industry executive Robert Glazer has been named to the board of directors of the Open Door Family Medical Center Foundation.
Glazer served for more than 20 years as CEO for ENT and Allergy Associates, the nation’s largest otolaryngology practice, growing it from a 12-physician practice with three offices in the New York metropolitan area to one with 250 physicians in 50 office locations. He also held financial executive positions at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and NYU Langone Medical Center. Most recently, he founded Glazer Business Advisors, which provides strategic and business counseling to healthcare organizations.
Glazer is also a board member of the Westchester County Association and was a recipient of the Healthcare Champion Award, awarded in 2022 by The Westchester County Association and the Businessman of the Year Award in 2021 by the Business Council of Westchester.
“I’ve known Bob both professionally and personally for many years, and am thrilled to have such a well-respected and influential figure in the healthcare community join our Foundation Board,” said Lindsay Farrell, president and CEO of Open Door. “His unique background, experiences and skills, including his time spent at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital running its development arm, will be invaluable to us.”
