The Connecticut State Dental Association has created a website designed to connect prospective employees with careers in the state’s dental profession.
The CSDA Career Center will enable employers with the opportunity to highlight full-time and part-time positions. The site also includes a Career Planning Portal, described as a “one-stop career resource center” to prepare individuals for positions including dental assistants, office managers, patient coordinators, dental hygienists, front desk assistants and more.
The website will also feature sections providing up-to-date employment news highlighting developments in the field, along with insights into wages, qualifications, and other in-depth data, as well as access to coaching to provide career guidance. Information regarding development of resumes and cover letters, as well as various workplace and health-related information, will also
be available.
“Open positions in dental practices throughout Connecticut are plentiful, and include jobs for anyone with a high school degree to a post-graduate degree,” said Kathlene Gerrity, executive director of CSDA. “Dental health is critical to overall health, and working in this field is tremendously satisfying ”“ impacting people”™s health and the health of the community. The CSDA Career Center will focus on connecting talent to opportunity, particularly for people looking to enter or advance in a dynamic health care field.”
