Mount Sinai Health System has expanded its partnership with Press Ganey, a national health care consultant on patient services,  to capture deeper patient data for feedback purposes through census-based surveying.
According to Press Ganey”™s website, the company’s census-based surveying significantly increases patient data and enables shorter improvement cycles as a result of more rapid feedback. Press Ganey says its surveying helps organizations get feedback from as much of their patient populations as possible by giving every patient the opportunity to be heard through an email-only survey program or by adding unlimited email-based surveying to an existing phone and mail program.
“Providing efficient, high quality care across a major health system is our most important priority, and we chose Press Ganey for its comprehensive tools, industry expertise and experience in fostering patient-centered care,” said Dr. Jeremy Boal, chief medical officer of Mount Sinai Health System, in a press release.
The Mount Sinai health system includes seven hospital campuses, a medical school, 12 minority-owned free-standing ambulatory surgery centers, more than 45 ambulatory practices and 31 affiliated community health centers throughout the five boroughs of New York City, Westchester County and Long Island.
