Tarrytown-based Visiting Nurse Association of Hudson Valley (VNAHV), has acquired for an undisclosed amount the certified home health care agency of Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel.
“Our family of organizations, which includes Hospice Care in Westchester & Putnam and VNA Home Health Services, have been serving the Putnam community for many years,” said VNAHV President and CEO Michele Quirolo, in a prepared statement. “The addition of our certified services ensures that the residents of Putnam will have access to a complete continuum of care for all their home care needs under one organization.”
A transition plan is now under way until Putnam Hospital Center”™s Certificate of Need is transferred to the Visiting Nurse Association.
It is expected the state Department of Health will issue final approval this fall.
