A medical supplier in New Rochelle has been retained as prime vendor by St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx for the fourth consecutive time.
In an estimated $21 million contract, MMS Medical Supply Co. for the course of three years will provide all medical and surgical products and equipment to the hospital.
“MMS has been working with St. Barnabas for over 12 years,” Gina Marchese, vice president and general manager of MMS East Division, said in a statement. “This kind of continuity allows us to really understand the dynamics of their specific organization and the different needs of their clinicians and support staff at all their locations.”

Willow Towers in New Rochelle has received assisted living residence (ALR) licensure by the state Health Department.
The luxury assisted living also earned dual certification for enhanced assisted living residence and special needs assisted living residence.

The ALR license allows the center to employ health care staff directly.
Admission and retention parameters are clearly defined under ALR licensure as well as permitted family advocacy through the department of health.
