New York Medical College in Valhalla announced on Wednesday that it has added a health consumer product company as a client for its biotechnology incubator, BioInc@NYMC.
The company, Four LLC, creates nutrition products intended to end food cravings ”” a function the company calls a new category in sustainable nutrition. The first of its products is expected to launch in 2016.
BioInc@NYMC was created in 2014 to house entrepreneurs and startups that aim to prevent and treat disease and disabilities. Four LLC will be the fourth company acquired by the incubator, joining Conversion Energy Enterprises, a corporation that develops and prototypes laser products for medical applications; MB Group USA, a supplier of products derived from rare fruits for health purposes; and MOE Medical Devices LLC, a maker of cold electrical plasma therapeutics.
The incubator provides laboratories and offices at its 10,000-square-foot section of a building on the medical college”™s campus.
