Fordham University announced its fall workshop series will focus on health care innovations like data analytics as well as how to navigate emerging health care systems and the changing roles of its professionals.
The Intensive Experience in Health Care Innovation workshop series being offered at the college’s Harrison campus includes six sessions meant for health care professionals and the general public.
The workshops include: Data Analytics in Health Care; Teambuilding and Effective Communication in the New Health Care Marketplace; Navigating the Health Care System: Professional Caregivers”™ Evolving Roles; Health Care Information Systems and Data Security; Health Care Policy and Regulatory Issues; Health Care Marketing, Social Media, and Ethics.
The workshop instructors include local health care workers, information technology and digital professionals, and professors and other academics.
Individuals who complete all six will receive a certificate of completion for the program.
The series, which is being offered by the college”™s School of Professional and Continuing Studies, will take place on weeknights and weekends starting the third week of October and ending in December.
The cost of the workshops ranges from $175 to $500.
