The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services recently approved Fidelis Care’s plan to expand its Medicare products to 12 counties, including Putnam and Sullivan, next year.
Fidelis Care, a statewide health plan provider with more than 900,000 members, will give eligible seniors in Putnam and Sullivan counties the option to choose Fidelis Care’s Medicare Advantage plan.
The Medicare Advantage plan is now available to eligible seniors in 34 counties in the state. The enrollment period for 2014 is Oct. 15 to  Dec. 7.
