Dr. Nan Hayworth, the former congresswoman from Bedford, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Westchester County Health Care Corp., which operates the regional Westchester Medical Center Health Network headquartered in Valhalla.
A board-certified ophthalmologist, Hayworth is a consulting medical director with The Kinetix Group, a New York City company that provides business planning and other services for the health care and life science industries. She previously ran her own medical practice and was a partner in Mount Kisco Medical Group, since renamed Caremount Medical, a multispecialty physician group whose president and CEO, Dr. Scott D. Hayworth, is Hayworth”™s husband.
Representing the lower Hudson Valley”™s 19th congressional district from 2011 through 2012, the graduate of Princeton University and Cornell University Medical College served on the House Financial Services Committee and the joint House-Senate conference committee that addressed Medicare reimbursement levels.
