
Judi Peacock has been named chief nursing officer at Blythedale Children”™s Hospital in Valhalla.
The Nyack resident most recently was nursing director at The Osborn senior citizen community in Rye. In a nursing career spanning more than 30 years, she served as director of patient services for pediatric critical care at Children”™s Hospital of New York Presbyterian, where she played a key role in the planning, construction and reorganization of a new children”™s hospital. She has been a consultant for various hospital systems, a nurse legal expert and has collaborated on pediatric research projects and scholarly papers.
Announcing Peacock”™s appointment, Blythedale Children”™s Hospital President and CEO Larry Levine said, “Her expertise in pediatric nursing will be a great asset to Blythedale in continuing our mission of providing the highest quality care to infants, children and adolescents with complex health care needs.”
Peacock earned a nursing degree from Boston University and a master”™s degree in public health from Columbia University School of Public Health.
