Toot!
The county exec”™s office must really, really, really like their new Web site a whole heckuva lot.
It took them 898 words in a press release last week to say that it was rehabbed. Yes, we counted three times.
Maybe the members of the press office get paid by the word.
The release says the county prides itself in being one of the “most technically savvy governments in the country.” Um, we”™re not sure that the electorate will wholeheartedly agree that that is something to be proud of.
Be proud of lowering taxes; be proud of ending homelessness in the county; be proud of enticing more business to locate in the county; be proud of keeping manufacturers from moving out of the county to lower-taxed Southern locales; be proud of promoting education; be proud of keeping housing prices low … Hmm, maybe Big Brother got it right.
Say it proud, say it loud: “We”™re one of the most technically savvy governments in the country.”
