The Westchester-Putnam One-Stop Employment Center, a government-backed project overseen by the Westchester-Putnam Workforce Investment Board (WIB), announced it will be holding a month-long virtual job fair during September.
Participating businesses are able to list jobs, review resumes and screen candidates online. Businesses may also work with One-Stop staff to screen candidates and are able to use office space at a One-Stop location to conduct screenings and interviews.
Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino said in a statement that One-Stop would also help pay the cost of training new employees.
One-Stop has locations in White Plains, Carmel, Yonkers, Peekskill and Mount Vernon.
The virtual job fair is being co-sponsored by the Yonkers Workforce Investment Board, the Business Council of Westchester and the state Department of Labor. Interested businesses may register at www.westchesterputnamonestop.com.
