The Internal Revenue Service just launched a YouTube video web site and an iTunes podcast web site for taxpayers and resources for small business owners.
Visitors may obtain information on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), specifically the $8,000 first-time homebuyer”™s credit, sales or excise tax deduction on new car purchases and expanded credits for education and energy conservation.
The audio channel on iTunes will feature ARRA tax credit podcasts.
The small-business section of IRS.gov offers taxpayer resources in the following areas:
- Employment tax requirements
- Making tax payments
- How to set up and distribute retirement plans
- Streaming video of small business tax workshops
- Access to free products, such as tax calendars and small business resource guides
