An annual survey conducted by the Center for Digital Government and the National Association of Counties placed Dutchess County at No. 2 in the country for technology services.
For the last 12 years, Dutchess has ranked in this survey’s top 10 among counties with populations between 250,000 and 499,999.
The Digital Counties Survey highlighted counties across the country that use technology to provide services and improve efficiency in the community.
The Office of Central and Information Services in Dutchess has made it easier for residents to access information and resources using a variety of platforms, including social media, email alerts and a content management system for government documents and historical records.
