The Westchester County Board of Legislators will be holding three public hearings on the 2013 budget.
The $1.7 billion budget proposed by County Executive Rob Astorino carries a zero percent tax increase and the elimination of 189 jobs with 126 layoffs.
Public hearings will be held Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. at Mamaroneck Village Hall, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. at Cortlandt Town Hall and Dec. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Westchester County Center in White Plains.
Legislators will also be meeting with various departments throughout November and December with the meetings streamed online. Legislators have until Dec. 27 to approve a budget.
