The Pieology Pizzeria chain has announced the refreshing of the menu selections at its 100-plus locations across the country, including its two Northeast locations in Stamford and Brookfield.
According to the company, there will be “new Chef Inspired Tastes, Signature Pizza selections, appetizers, and desserts.” The heart of this refreshing effort is a new dough, which the company said is “is expertly crafted using its own proprietary flour mix” and a red sauce that is “made in-house with just a few ingredients for a fresh, authentic flavor.”
Vito Iacopelli, an expert Italian Pizzaiolo and social media personality, was recruited to advise Pieology on its upgrades.
“Over the years, we’ve won guests over with innovative offerings like our signature gluten free and cauliflower crusts and a vast range of toppings that encouraged endless customization possibilities,” said Pieology CEO Shawn Thompson. “Now, we’re excited to double down on pizza, with a new proprietary flour for our house-made dough, authentic red sauce recipe, new premium Italian mozzarella and upgraded toppings.”
