The City of New Rochelle is partnering with the Hispanic American Advisory Committee for the second annual Taste of Union Avenue event, to be held July 22 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Union Avenue between First and Fourth Streets.
The Taste of Union Avenue celebrates the cuisines and cultures of Latin America. This year”™s event will include more than 40 Hispanic-owned local businesses, live music spanning Latin America”™s rich acoustic diversity ”“ Banda Norteña, Mariachi + Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata and Pop Latino ”“ and exhibitions from local artists, along with free roller skating plus family-friendly games and programming.
Free parking for the event will be available at the upper level of the New Rochelle Transit Center and shuttles will bring attendees from the parking lot to the event.
