Saltwater, the newest eatery in the SoNo section of Norwalk, is scheduled to begin full service on Wednesday following a pair of invitation-only previews last weekend.
Saltwater, at 128 Washington St., occupies the former site of the Asian fusion restaurant Ch”™i Public House, which opened in November but abruptly closed in February. Ch”™i Public House replaced Red Lulu, a Mexican eatery that operated from 2010 to 2014 at the Washington Street location.
The new establishment is owned by Hector Correa and Carlos Lopez, whose mission is “to serve the best fish and seafood that you will find anywhere in Fairfield County,” according to the company’s website.
