A new cafe called Fork in The Road Market is seeking to open in Ridgefield.
The new business plans to move into the 3 Danbury Road space occupied by the Cucumber and Chamomile tea shop until it shut down in September. The Ridgefield Press reports the town”™s health department needs to grant approval before the cafe can set up shop, while the town”™s Architectural Advisory Committee has already granted approval for a freestanding sign that would highlight its presence.
Details on what Fork in the Road Market will offer are, at the moment, a bit scant. The business”™ Facebook page only describes the upcoming endeavor as “Cafe + Local Marketplace. A cozy cottage experience.” The owners of Fork in the Road Market also own Kafo, a cafe and bakery on Ridgefield”™s Main Street.
