The Town of Fairfield”™s newest restaurant, 348 Oyster Bar, will have its official opening on May 8.
The restaurant had a soft opening in mid-April, but Monday”™s event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony presided over by First Selectman Mike Tetreau plus complimentary champagne and hors d”™oeuvres. The new restaurant, which focuses on Mediterranean-inspired seafood, replaces Black Rock Oyster Bar & Grill, which closed last summer following the $1.3 million sale of the 2,663-square-foot property to Ahab”™s Table LLC and Black Rock SoHo LLC.
The restaurant is at 348 Black Rock Turnpike and open seven days a week from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
