Diageo has teamed with the wedding planning company Zola to bring its customized versions of its product line into the summer wedding season.
The Norwalk-based company is making three of its brands ”“ Tequila Don Julio 1942, Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Bulleit 10 Year Old ”“ available as wedding registry offerings, customizing the bottles with personal engravings and providing gift cards via ReserveBar, a spirits gift-provider.
Diageo and Zola have also brought in Cocktail Courier, a cocktail kit delivery service, to create custom cocktail kits using Diageo”™s Tequila Don Julio and Ketel One Botanical brands. The partnership also includes the Diageo Experience Vehicle Reservation Service, which allows the wedding reception to have either a Blade and Bow Horse Trailer or a Bulleit Bourbon Woody; vehicle registration begins at $20,000.
“The bar is an important wedding moment that can sometimes be overlooked, and we hope to help inspire couples with a myriad of ideas for special experiences and gifts with our new partnership with Zola,” said Amy Schmidt, director of strategic partnerships at Diageo North America.
