Sur La Table, the Seattle-based specialty culinary supplies and cooking class retailer, this fall will open a 5,812-square-foot store in The Westchester mall in White Plains. An Oct. 12 opening is tentatively scheduled.
The retailer, which opened its first Westchester County store at Ridge Hill in Yonkers, will employ more than 20 full-time and part-time employees at its White Plains location.
The store”™s cooking class program will be led by classically trained resident chef Ally Banks.
Launched 40 years ago in Seattle”™s Pike Place Market, Sur La Table operates more than 90 stores nationwide and offers cooking classes in more than 30 locations.
