Cajun eatery The Rye Roadhouse is set to be featured on an upcoming episode of the Cooking Channel”™s “Road Trip with G. Garvin.”
The cable network”™s production crew visited the restaurant on Saturday to film footage for an episode to be broadcast at a future date yet to be announced. “Road Trip” focuses on highlighting Southern-style restaurants and recipes.
The Rye Roadhouse, located at 12 High St., Rye, serves dishes more common in the bayou than in the New York metro area. Its menu includes alligator nuggets (blackened or fried), jambalaya and crawfish.
