The first Westchester franchise for the Israel-based Burgerim fast-food chain has opened at 1137 W. Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck.
Founded in Tel Aviv in 2011, Burgerim offers a menu lineup of mini-burgers that are slightly larger than sliders, along with lamb, chicken, salmon and veggie patties plus a variety of toppings including avocado, fried egg and pineapple. The menu also includes chicken wings and milkshakes.
Burgerim”™s U.S. operations have primarily been focused on the West Coast and Texas, but the company is seeking to expand its Northeast operations. A second Westchester location is being planned for Dobbs Ferry and the first Fairfield County franchise opened in June 2018 in Brookfield.
