Rye resident John Bello, who sold the beverage brand SoBe to Pepsi in 2001 for $360 million, has a new drink on the market.
Bello teamed up with Odwalla founder Greg Steltenpohl to create Adina Holistics, a new beverage line of organic herbal elixirs. Queens-based Big Geyser Inc. will be the primary distributor for the brand in the Metro New York market.
“I feel with Adina Holistics, I get to finish what I started at SoBe,” Bello said. “Big Geyser was instrumental in our success with SoBe and it”™s good to get the same winning team back on the field.”
Adina Holistics come in five varieties: Blackberry Hibiscus, Grapefruit Goji, Pomegranate AçaÃ, Peach Amalaki and Mango Orange Chamomile.
