An unnamed Westchester investor paid $1.36 million in cash to acquire 175 Main St., a three-story, 13,900-square-foot corner property in Ossining”™s downtown business district.
The buyer, whose purchasing company is 175 Main Street Realty LLC, acquired the property from Rese Realty in a deal brokered for the seller by Admiral Real Estate Services”™ John Barrett, head of the Bronxville company”™s investment sales division, and Admiral retail associate Joan Simon. The building has retail frontage on Main Street with additional lower-level frontage on the Old Croton Aqueduct.
Simon, who brought the building”™s retail space to full occupancy prior to the sale, said the property has five ground-floor retail tenants, including Karma Lounge Restaurant, Boost Mobile and All State Insurance ”” in addition to office and retail tenants on upper floors.
Barrett said there was “substantial interest in the property, and we received multiple highly qualified offers. We continue to see buyers execute quickly to lock in transactions, as sellers take advantage of the high level of liquidity in the market”.
