Fairfield”™s Emerging Leaders Organization, a young professional group within the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, is celebrating its first year providing a networking platform for young professionals to enhance professional skills and promote social and civic opportunities for the enrichment of the business community.
The business group will celebrate their first anniversary at Taberna Restaurant Tapas & Wine Bar in Fairfield on Jan. 26 at 5:30 p.m.
The recently established organization includes professionals from a variety of business sectors ranging from entry to management levels in their respective companies.
In addition to professional advancement, the young professional group raises money for scholarships to support graduating Fairfield high school students, either attending a business school or majoring in business. In June of 2015, FELO awarded its first two scholarships to one student from Ludlowe High School and one student from Warde High School.
