Stamford-based WWE will launch the WWE Network ”“ all day, every day ”“ Monday, Feb. 24, 9 a.m.
Billed as the first-ever 24/7 streaming network, the programming lineup is highlighted by “WrestleMania 30” Sunday, April 6, 7 p.m., live from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
For the first time , the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will air live in its entirety, on Saturday, April 5, 9 p.m. on the new network.
Fans of WWE will recognize inductees The Ultimate Warrior, Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Lita.
Demonstrating the reach of the WWE franchise, another network ”“ US A ”“ will air a one-hour special Monday, April 7, immediately following the regular “Monday Night Raw” WWE staple.
WWE Network will be available through the WWE App on TV via connected devices including Roku streaming devices, Sony PlayStations 3 and 4 and Xbox 360. WWE Network will also be available through the WWE App on iOS devices, including Apple iPad and iPhone, Amazon”™s Kindle Fire devices and Android devices, as well as on desktops and laptops via WWE.com. The WWE App has more than 10 million downloads globally, the company reports.
Programs will include live and original efforts, plus an extensive WWE library.
