The Women”™s Business Development Council (WBDC) of Connecticut will hold its Women with Impact Annual Business Breakfast & Symposium on Sept. 23 from 7 to 10:00 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich, 1800 East Putnam Ave., Old Greenwich.
The discussion will include a look at potential economic changes that can strengthen women”™s entrepreneurship.
The panel will be moderated by Lesley Jane Seymour, former editor-in-chief of More magazine. Panelists include Kimberly A. Blackwell, CEO of PMM Agency; Margaret Price, CEO of Ridgefield Supply Company; Betty Spence, president of the National Association for Female Executives; and Allison Schieffelin Walker, chairman and CEO of The Lighting Quotient.
Over 650 guests are expected at the 15th annual WBDC fundraising event.
WBDC develops women business leaders and provides financial, entrepreneurial and access-to-capital educational programs to start-ups, emerging and established business owners. In 2015, WBDC clients launched or expanded over 375 new businesses, and maintained or added close to 820 jobs in Connecticut, resulting in $5 million in additional tax revenue to the state”™s economy.
