Blackshaw Hunchar LLC has acquired the mixed-use property consisting of three buildings at 1835 Post Road East in Westport for $4.16 million. The deal is the third recent acquisition by Avison Young”™s
Fairfield/Westchester office on behalf of Blackshaw, which appointed Avison property manager for the 10,713-square-foot property. Blackshaw was represented by Avison Young Principal and Managing Director Sean Cahill, Alison Luisi of the firm”™s Capital Markets Group, and Ted Stratigos from its Long Island office. The seller was Green Farm Associates LLC, represented in-house by Gary Bellard.
Built in 2001, the properties were completely occupied at the time of the closing, with tenants including Walpole Woodworkers, Fjord Fisheries and Shoreline Pharmacy. The 0.63-acre plot includes 34 parking spaces and is near Shake Shack, Stop and Shop, and HomeGoods, as well as Exit 19 of Interstate 95.
