HK Group, a Westport-based commercial real estate firm, in December arranged the sales of two properties in Hamden and one on Long Island totaling more than 380,000 square feet.
A New Jersey holding company, 900 Stewart Owner L.L.C., purchased a 250,000-square-foot office property in Garden City, N.Y., with the sale announced by HK Group Dec. 19. HK Group President Matthew Keefe represented both the buyer and the seller.
According to public records, the property was purchased from Caesar Figoni for approximately $27 million. JPMorgan Chase & Co. currently leases three-quarters of the property at 900 Stewart Ave.
On Dec. 26, HK Group announced it had arranged the sale of two medical office buildings at 2200 Whitney Ave. and 2080 Whitney Ave. in Hamden for an undisclosed price.
The properties were sold to holding companies 2200 Real Estate L.L.C. and 2080 Real Estate L.L.C., which are both owned by Hamden Medical Associates L.L.C., based in Southport, according to public records. The sellers were Twenty Eighty L.P. for 2080 Whitney Ave. and Whitney Medical Center L.P. for 2200 Whitney Ave.
In the latter sales, Keefe represented both the buyers and the seller. Together, the buildings total 134,000 square feet, and are fully occupied, with tenants including medical practices associated with the Yale-New Haven Health System.
