An extensive review of emails showed no suggestion Connecticut Speaker of the House Chris Donovan knew of aides soliciting money for his Congressional campaign in exchange for influencing state legislation, according to an independent investigator retained by Donovan.
Day Pitney attorney Stanley Twardy released findings from his investigation into actions by Donovan”™s campaign manager Robert Braddock Jr., who faces multiple charges. Donovan is running for Congress”™ Fifth District.
Twardy reviewed 140,000 emails and questioned Donovan and a dozen  people, though not Braddock and several others implicated by the federal government.
