Towers Perrin has acquired ISR, a Chicago firm that surveys employees on how they view their work settings, and which itself has more than 200 employees in 10 locations.
The companies did not detail financial terms.
Towers Perrin consults on personnel policies and insurance. The Stamford company indicated it did the ISR deal to bolster its practice that helps organizations assess their work-force needs and properly deploy employees and managers. Besides its rank-and-file surveys, ISR polls senior corporate leaders and expatriates and also does work on the impact of mergers.
In February, Towers Perrin acquired MGMC Inc., a Darien firm that consults to financial firms on how much to pay their executives.
