After acquiring Bear Naked Inc., Kellogg Co. plans to shut down the Norwalk company”™s headquarters and a Stamford facility, affecting about 100 jobs.
Bear Naked was founded in 2002 to sell granola cereal and recently added trail mix snacks to its lineup.
Battle Creek, Mich.-based Kellogg plans to add Bear Naked products to its Kashi Co. subsidiary based in California, according to a report in the Battle Creek Enquirer, which first broke the news of the acquisition.
