One month after its debut in Greenwich, Conn., Stark Office Suites has expanded again in Westchester County with the acquisition of a former competitor in Rye Brook.
The 9-year-old company, which rents turnkey office space and provides virtual office services to professionals and entrepreneurs, has acquired assets of The Private Office Inc. in Rye Brook. Company founder and president Adam J. Stark has signed a long-term lease for 20,550 square feet of office space in The Private Office”™s location at 800 Westchester Ave., the former General Foods headquarters and corporate architectural landmark that is owned and operated by RPW Group Inc.
The Private Office was founded by George Russell 25 years ago. Russell died Aug. 11.
Stark in a press release said the company plans to make substantial investments and capital improvements to its new “flagship” facility in an approximately 533,000-square-foot building that he called “the pinnacle of the suburban New York office market.”

Stark”™s landlord, Robert P. Weisz, RPW Group chairman and CEO, in the announcement called Stark Office Suites “an ideal business for this remarkable building” that “shares our values of integrity and outstanding service.”
Stark Office Suites was represented in the Rye Brook lease deal by Eric Goldschmidt of Goldschmidt & Associates in Scarsdale.
Started in 2004 in White Plains, where it is headquartered at 445 Hamilton Ave., Stark Business Solutions Inc. has grown to operate more than 150,000 square feet of executive office space at eight locations in Westchester, midtown Manhattan and Fairfield County, Conn.
The company opened Oct. 1 in a 15,000-square-foot space in the Greenwich Office Park, its second Connecticut location. Stark in 2011 opened a suite of offices at 243 Tresser Blvd. in Stamford.
The company in the past year has grown its footprint by more than 50 percent to become one of the 20 largest executive office suite businesses in the U.S. Averaging 50 percent annual growth, it now has more than 600 clients in law, finance, professional services and other fields.
Stark also has offices in Harrison, Mount Kisco and Scarsdale.
