Sterling Investment Partners has acquired Service Logic, a Denver-based provider of maintenance services for the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems of some 6,000 clients.
The companies did not disclose financial terms. Service Logic has 600 employees in 16 states, none in the Northeast.
Sterling Partners is based in Westport. Norwalk-based GE Capital led a senior credit facility helping to fund the transaction.
“We believe that in an environment of rising energy costs, Service Logic’s strong capabilities to improve clients’ energy efficiency through increasingly sophisticated solutions, such as remote monitoring technology, positions the company for future growth,” said William Macey, a managing partner of Sterling, in a prepared statement.
