Stamford”™s new mayor has put out the “help wanted” sign, seeking volunteers to serve the city on 23 commissions and boards that span photography to shellfish to golf and beyond.
Mayor David Martin is seeking applications from residents interested in being appointed to one of Stamford”™s volunteer boards and commissions. Martine, aided by his transition team, will be reaching out to residents and sharing information about the boards and commissions and how those interested can serve.
Stamford”™s government relies significantly on volunteers from the community to serve in various capacities, the mayor”™s office said in a press release. “Serving on a local board or commission is an opportunity for residents to become involved and help shape the future of Stamford.”

Applications will be evaluated in the next several weeks. Seats are available for:
