The Ridgefield Rockwell Art and Framing store, one of six in Fairfield County, has relocated within Ridgefield to a 950-square-foot space at 470 Main St.
“An even more superior design experience” is part of the business plan.
The new space, formerly occupied by Sotheby”™s, is in the same building as Rockwell”™s current store, beside Silver Lining Consignments and across from the Ridgefield Library and Ballard Park.
“I am very excited to announce our relocation plans,” Steve Desloge, Rockwell”™s owner and president, said. “We will continue in our commitment to offering our community the highest level in art and framing.”
A grand opening party with food and other activities ”” including a caricature artist ”” is slated for Oct. 17 from noon to 4 p.m.
The company, with more than a decade in business, provides custom picture framing services, picture installation, in-home consulting, fine-art sales, restoration and appraisal referrals and corporate art advisory services. Rockwell”™s five other stores are in Fairfield, New Canaan, Stamford, Westport and Wilton.
