Trader Joe”™s is reportedly opening its first Stamford store at the former Borders Books building at High Ridge Center, targeting an opening date next March.
The Monrovia, Calif.-based chain initially rejected the site but agreed after continued contacts with the site”™s owners, according to the Stamford Advocate. The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. runs an A&P Fresh store just up High Ridge Rd.
Trader Joe”™s also has stores in Darien, Westport, Fairfield and Danbury.
