Pitney Bowes Inc. is opening a second research and development center in India, after adding more than 600 employees there the past five years.
Stamford-based Pitney Bowes has its headquarters in Stamford and a large development operation in Danbury.
In Pune, India, inland from Mumbai, Pitney Bowes will continue development of its Volly digital billing and communications “mailbox” that is on track to debut with consumers later this year. The company”™s existing India R&D office is in Noida near New Delhi.
