PerkinElmer Inc. renewed a lease at 710 Bridgeport Ave. in Shelton, where it occupies nearly 250,000 square feet of space.
Waltham, Mass.-based PerkinElmer sells a wide range of instruments to analyze and measure substances for medical, manufacturing and environmental applications. The Shelton facility is one of four primary U.S. offices for its life and analytical sciences division.
In May, the company acquired Branford-based Analytica, a developer of mass spectrometry and ion source technology; PerkinElmer stated it would relocate Analytica”™s manufacturing to Shelton, while maintaining the Branford facility for research and development.

TUV Rheinland North America Holding Inc. has relocated its headquarters to Boston. A spokeswoman stated Newtown remains the corporate headquarters of TUV Rheinland of North America, Inc. A few senior management from the Newtown headquarters will be moving to the holding company’s new location.
TUV Rheinland of North America Inc. performs product safety testing and certification and has operations throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Peak Antennas L.L.C. is relocating its office a few miles north from 5000 Madison Ave. in Trumbull to 200 Main St. in Monroe.
The company makes specialty antennas for broadcasting microwave communications signals and other applications.
Peak Antennas signed a five-year lease for 2,000 square feet in the 28,000-square-foot building at 200 Main St., which is owned by Sippin Management, an affiliate of Sippin Energy Products L.L.C. of Monroe.
