Over 400 PepsiCo Inc. employees volunteered in local communities throughout Westchester, Putnam and Fairfield counties on Oct. 25, the company’s annual “PepsiCo Gives Back Day.”
PepsiCo partnered with The Volunteer Center of United Way, a regional volunteer center in Tarrytown, and contributed to 24 local community projects led by The Volunteer Center and The Volunteer Center of United Way of Western Connecticut.
Volunteers built fences, picked up trash, cut back vines and sorted through donated clothes. Projects included building, tutoring, trail maintenance, painting, cleaning, reading with children, helping farms with harvesting and working with seniors.
