Pepe & Hazard merges into N.J. firm

Pepe & Hazard L.L.P. is being acquired by the Morristown, N.J.-based law firm McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter L.L.P.

With offices in Hartford, Southport, Waterbury and Boston, Pepe & Hazard adds about 60 attorneys to the 240 at MDM&C. Pepe & Hazard will drop its moniker and convert to the MDM&C brand when the merger is completed in the second quarter.

Pepe & Hazard also operates Integrated Project Solutions L.L.C., whose services include electronic document discovery and construction claims consulting.

MDM&C bills itself as the third largest law firm based in New Jersey.
